The Ucayali bald uakari is a red-faced Amazonian monkey, raised from subspecies to full species rank in 2022. Its face and crown are bare skin, colored by blood vessels rather than pigment, and its tail is the shortest in proportion of any New World monkey. It lives between the Ucayali and Javari rivers in Peru, and in Acre, Brazil.

The Udzungwa red colobus (Piliocolobus gordonorum), also called the Iringa red colobus or the Uzungwa red colobus is endemic to Tanzania.

The Ugandan crested mangabey is a forest monkey of Uganda, with one population in northwest Tanzania. It is probably the smallest of the crested mangabeys. Kibale Forest National Park sits inside its range, so most famous research on gray-cheeked mangabeys describes this animal under an older name. The IUCN has never assessed it as a species.

Uta Hick’s Bearded Saki (Chiropotes utahicki) is an endangered species of bearded saki, a New World monkey species. It was named after Uta Hick, a German primatologist who cared for bearded sakis at Cologne Zoo.
