    PlantStress

    The PlantStress web site presents concise and updated discussions of the main stresses: Drought, Heat, Cold (chilling and freezing), Salinity, Soil Mineral Deficiency and Soil Mineral Toxicity (mainly aluminum and acid soil).

    The UW-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences is Wisconsin’s land grant agricultural college. We conduct research, instruction and outreach programs in agriculture, biology, natural resources, food science, and rural development.

    The International Centre for Research in Agroforestry (ICRAF)

    ICRAF conducts strategic and applied research for more sustainable and productive land use. It has five research themes: diversification and intensification of land use; soil fertility replenishment in nutrient-depleted lands; socioeconomic and policy research; acceleration of impact on farm by ensuring that research results are used; and capacity and institutional strengthening through training and the dissemination of information.
