    Pacific Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry

    Pacific Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry (PIBC) (the former name Institute of Biologically Active Substances) was founded in 1964 for studies in bioorganic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular immunology, marine microbiology and biotechnology. Marine organisms of the World Ocean (including microorganisms) and unique higher plants of the Russian Far East are subjects of our research.
