Parismina Sea Turtle Commission
- Leatherback, Green, Hawksbill and Loggerhead sea turtles nest in large numbers on the Caribbean beach of Parismina, Costa Rica. Poaching remains a problem, but local volunteers are working in conjunction with the coast guard to patrol the beaches and have started a turtle hatchery.
